The difference between dia 4 and dia 2 is absolutely huge as well and people often use that for their threshold, but I atleast think the p1-dia4 mark is where these things begin to become relevant. But as a rule of thumb it is statistically acceptable to assume that someone below dia does not know/can not execute these fundamentals. Saying 'diamonds know this stuff' is generous because lots of them don't anyway. But match ups come after fundamentals and require knowledge about them to discuss properly. But that doesn't last, and you'll reach a point where you start getting ruined again.Ĭould go for hours down a rabbit hole about match ups and so on. Sometimes you find a champ that you seem to be naturally inclined to playing and you're like 'okay this feels kind of good!' and you win a few games more than usual, despite not maining the champ hard. You gotta focus on one thing at a time and picking zed, never mind top lane, is just too much to think about. But, if you want to improve and/or climb (not the same thing), this will slow your rate of improvement for both zed and LoL generally. If you want to have fun on a champ you like, or at least want to improve in the most fun way for you, then pick Zed top. I always say: the priority is to get what you want out of the game. If you aren't diamond, you can't play it, and you should get all the help you can get from champions that make the game easier.
